Jacie Brock Hospital Manager

Buffalo Grove Hospital Manager

Jacie Brock serves as the current Hospital Manager at Animal Care Center of Buffalo Grove and has been apart of our team since 2021. With over 21 years of experience in the veterinary field, Jacie’s journey began as a Veterinary Technician—a role she continues to fulfill at Buffalo Grove alongside her managerial responsibilities. These roles portray her comprehensive understanding of both the clinical and administrative aspects of veterinary care.

Jacie’s passion for animals has been the driving force behind her career.  She explains- “There is no greater feeling than making a difference in a pet's or client's life”. This dedication extends further to her own pets—a 6-year-old Beagle/Dalmatian mix named Darla and a 4-year-old Domestic Long Hair cat named Bots. Darla, whom Jacie rescued as a puppy, has been her loyal sidekick through moves, road trips, and even work shifts, earning her the title of “unofficial mascot” and unpaid member of the hospital. Bots was a street rescue with a sweet and loving personality that Jacie couldn’t resist, and her sister even adopted Bots’ brother to keep it in the family.

For Jacie, Animal Care Center has become a second family. She values the team’s dedication to helping pets and their families and takes pride in the compassion and care reflected in their daily work. Jacie’s passions don’t stop at work, as she has many hobbies include drawing, making jewelry, attending concerts, and exploring history through metal detecting, documentaries, and even ghost hunting. As the oldest of six siblings, she also enjoys spending time with her family, where there is never a dull moment.
