Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Scheduling appointments, obtaining patient histories and communicating with clients
· Creating estimates and presenting treatment plans to clients
· Admitting patients for surgery, performing TPRs, and prepping for surgery
· Calculating and administering drugs
· Intubation and monitoring of patients while under general anesthesia
· Obtaining intraoral dental radiographs (on-site training available)
· Scaling and polishing teeth
· Hospital cleaning and instrument and equipment maintenance
· Discharging Patients
Requirements
Must have veterinary experience.
Certified Veterinary Technician preferred- non-licensed persons will be considered based on skills and work experience
Must be proficient in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Must have experience with surgery and anesthetic monitoring
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods at a time while assisting in surgery
Must have good phone and client communication skills

Our dentistry department provides specialty dental services such as root canal therapy, full mouth extractions, and jaw fracture repair. We pride ourselves on quality medicine and advanced anesthetic monitoring and support. We are a Monday through Friday service. No weekend shifts are required.
